The EBRD will grant credits in the amount of almost 100 million euros to Moldova in 2008 – by 36 million more against 2007, EBRD First Vice-President Varel Freeman said at a news conference, devoted to the results of the EBRD delegation’s visit to Moldova. <\/p>\n

He remarked that Moldova achieved successes in the national economy and is a real partner for the EBRD. <\/p>\n

In Freeman’s words, two thirds of the bank’s credits will be designed for the private sector, the remaining ones – for the development of the public sector. In particular, the EBRD is going to work out special lines for the crediting of projects in the field of regional development, rural infrastructure, small and medium enterprises, road construction, water supply and sewage, strengthening and development of the energy sector. <\/p>\n
