First Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade Igor Dodon remarked that at present inspections, concerning the calculation and the collection of tax debts from economic entities are conducted both by the NTI and by the Center for Combating Economic Crime and Corruption (CCEC). <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Very often these inspections are duplicated, economic entities are diverted from the production process; it is not ruled out that there are simultaneous inspections of another kind. If the Parliament supports our amendments, the NTI exclusively will receive all the tax inspection functions, excluding cases of criminal persecution, which will remain the CCEC&rsquo;s prerogative&rdquo;, Dodon underlined. <\/p>\n<p>In his words, these amendments were discussed with the patronage and the trade unions and they support them.
