On Monday EFES Vitanta Moldova Brewery announced about the launch of “Belyi Medved” (White Bear) beer on the market in PET bottles of 2 liters. “Belyi Medved” is a pale ale made of especially selected ingredients in line with the traditions, and contains 4.8% alcohol and has a density of 11%. <\/p>\n

The distinctive element of the new beer is the special Q-Pack packaging. Manufactured in accordance with a special tightening technology, Q-Pack is based on the principle of “double barrier”: the external barrier keeps the bottle airproof, and the internal barrier keeps from losing the carbon dioxide. Another distinctive element of the PET bottle is the embossed logo that identifies the brand. <\/p>\n

At the end of November 2006 EFES Vitanta Moldova Brewery launched the half-dark beer Chisinau Winter Brew. The drink is sold during the cold season. <\/p>\n

EFES Vitanta Moldova Brewery holds about 70% of the beer market in Moldova, 48-50% of the soft drinks market, and 15% of the mineral water market. The company’s portfolio includes the following beer brands: Chisinau, Vitanta Premium, Staryi Melnik, Efes and Warsteiner. The company is part of the Efes Beverage Group, one of the biggest beer producers in Europe, with operations in Turkey, Russia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, and Serbia. <\/p>\n
