The Future Moldovan Prime Minister should be part of the present Government team, and should be a technocrat in order to be able to continue the reforms which have already started in Moldova, Moldovan Prime Minister told a news conference, after resigning together with the Cabinet of Ministers. <\/p>\n

The Prime Minister said he would welcome the fact if his successor is part of the current team, because an outside candidate would be too risky. Tarlev said he would help the future premier in fulfilling the plan, regarding the society’s economy and welfare. <\/p>\n

Asked by the journalists, Tarlev said that his decision of resigning was made on 17 March 2008, and it will not have any negative effect on the preelectoral year. Tarlev expressed hope that the future Cabinet of Ministers will assure continuity and stability in Moldova. <\/p>\n
