Around 150 thousand small businessmen took part in a protest action on Wednesday. They called the authorities to cancel the Law 2008, which introduces several limitations of the patent activity.
\nAccording to DECA-press Agency reporter, the protestors cried to annul this law. They had placards which said “Let’s unite and protect our right to have a patent” and “No to individual enterprises”.
\nThe protestors’ leader, Tamara Bogdan, claims that the authorities’ arguments to create individual enterprises do not encourage the small businessmen who want to continue their activity allowed by the patent.
\nThere are 266 patent holders in Telenesti. Half of them cannot continue their work from the beginning of this year on the ground that Law 2008 interdicts them to do it.
\nWe remind that the associations which represent the small businessmen announced about the protests which are going to take place. Tomorrow, the patent holders will picket the siege of the Parliament in Chisinau.
