We must learn to promote not only the Moldovan products, but also the services provided by Moldovan companies, stated Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade, Viorel Melnic, at the opening of the specialized exhibition Finances & Investments on Tuesday. <\/p>\n

According to Melnic, the exhibition is at its second edition, and becomes more and more topical and important for Moldova, because in the recent years the financial-banking and consulting services account for a more significant share in the GDP, and the symbiosis between the financial and investment systems ensure economic growth. <\/p>\n

We expect the exhibition will contribute to the intensification of the contacts between the providers and beneficiaries of financial-banking, consulting and investment services, the deputy minister stated. <\/p>\n

The President of BIS Group, Valeriu Lazar, coordinator of the exhibition, qualified year 2007 as the year of qualitative changes in the financial system. "We have already witnessed the entrance of serious investors in the banking system, and positive trends were observed in other sub-sectors, international leasing companies appear to complete a solid and serious market", Lazar stated. <\/p>\n

\"ViorelMoldova-Agroindbank, Energbank, Eximbank Gruppo Veneto Banca, Banca de Economii, Banca Sociala, Unibank, insurance companies Carat, Moldcargo, Afes-M, Stock Exchange Moldova, the National Financial Market Commission, the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova and economic agents and consulting and investment companies participate in the Finances & Investments exhibition. <\/p>\n

During the event, the exhibitors propose offers in areas such as real estate, insurance and re-insurance, mortgage crediting and other financial solutions and projects of banks, consulting and audit, and investment companies. <\/p>\n

The exhibition is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and Trade, Ministry of Finance, Bank Association, ASEM, and other public and private structures. <\/p>\n
