Today the Republic of Moldova has resumed wine export to the Russian Federation, officials from Moldova-vin Agro-industrial Agency stated for BASA-press. <\/p>\n

"The National Center for alcohol movement records has a sufficient volume of compulsory stickers for the enterprises that will export wine to Russia", noted Iurie Mudrea, PR Officer of Moldova-Vin Agency. <\/p>\n

Asked by BASA-press, Nicolae Casim, Director of the National Center for alcohol movement records, specified that two wine companies, Vismos and DK-Intertrade, had already purchased trademarks for exporting wine to Russia. Other three companies, Migdal-P, Calaras-Divin and Lion-Gri, had submitted applications for trademarks issuance, Casam said. <\/p>\n

In March 2006 Russia stopped importing alcoholic products from Moldova saying that the latter is of poor quality. Chisinau appreciated this reaction as being politically driven.
