The UkrInterEnergo enterprise increased its price for energy, exported to Moldova, by 3.3% up to $0.031 per 1 kWh in August. <\/p>\n

As Infotag has already reported, in June UkrInterEnergo and the Energocom Moldovan state enterprise agreed on the monthly increment of the energy price at $0.001 per 1kWh. <\/p>\n

Moldova remains one of the largest consumers of the Ukrainian energy. By the beginning of August Ukraine exported more than 6.7 billion kWh to Moldova – by 10.8% more than a year ago. One fourth of Ukraine’s total energy exports 1.63 billion (+27.8%) fell on Moldova. <\/p>\n

Before July Ukraine charged $0.027 per 1kWh from Moldova, but in July the price increased by $0.03 cents and it will increase monthly by 0.1 cent until it reaches Ukraine’s internal energy tariff. <\/p>\n

According to the wholesale energy market operator in the person of the Energorynok state enterprise, the wholesale energy price at the Ukrainian internal market was equal to $0.048 kWh from August 1 to 12. <\/p>\n

Moldova can cover only one third of its energy demand.
