This time, too, it left unchanged the price, 1.9 lei a loaf, on the &quot;Kishinevsky&quot; &#8211; the cheapest bread that in great demand by low-income population groups. <\/p>\n<p>However, the production of this bread variety has been substantially reduced. E.g., even Franzeluta&#8217;s central company shop in downtown Chisinau currently receives only 120-130 loafs of such bread a day. Before, the central shop used to receive up to a thousand loafs of Kishinevsky every morning, and buyers swept away everything maximum by noon. Besides, Franzeluta has started packing the bread in plastic bags. Accordingly, the price got substantially higher. <\/p>\n<p>The thing is, Moldova does not practically cultivate rye, and the entire rye grain is imported predominantly from Belarus, as well as, occasionally, from Ukraine and Russia.
