The Government and Ministry of Economy and Trade, with the financial support from the World Bank, has announced the launch of the Competitiveness Enhancement Project for 2006-2009 and the coming into force of the Mechanism of Grants for companies that want to obtain the international quality management system ISO or HACCP. This component of the project is administered by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova. <\/p>\n

The Mechanism of Grants will enable to refund at least 50% of the money spent by the companies on consulting services over implementation of the quality management system and on certification. <\/p>\n

The maximum co-financing sum is US$10,000. The aim of the Mechanism of Grants is to increase exports, enhance Moldovan companies’ competitiveness and improve the quality of the products and services provided. <\/p>\n

Applicants can be companies that produce goods and provide services, have no debts towards the budget and have not earlier applied for financial support from international organizations with the aim of co-financing the implementation of the quality systems financed as part of the given project. \/\/ Reporter.MD<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
