A group of 14 Moldovan companies, including winemaking firms, are showing their products in the Prodexpo, food product exhibition, which started in Moscow on Monday. <\/p>\n

The exhibition hosts among others the following firms Lion Gri, Enteh, Migdal-P, VS Export, and Tomai Vinex. The firms exhibited their wines, however they do not have the right to sell them or organize tasting sessions. <\/p>\n

The companies participate with a joint stand, and the trip was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. "Despite the embargo on wines, winemaking companies could exhibit their products in Moscow, as a result of some diplomatic agreements between Moldovan Embassy in Russia and Russian authorities", specified for BASA-press sources within the Chamber of Commerce. <\/p>\n

Two thousand one hundred and forty-four companies from 61 countries of the world participated in Prodexpo-2006, and 96 thousand people visited it. <\/p>\n

Russia stopped Moldovan wine imports in March 2006. This market accounted for 80% of Moldovan wine deliveries.
