Moldova.ORG — A National Agency for Credit Export Insurance will be created in the Republic of Moldova in a project sponsored by the European Union. The project is called TACIS "Support MEPO\/MIDA."<\/p>\n

The European Committee considers a priority to help the Republic of Moldova in the coming future, especially the Moldovan Export Promotion Organization (MEPO). <\/p>\n

Paolo Berizzi, designated to conduct business with the European Committee Delegation and the Republic of Moldova, declared that the European Committee also plans to contribute with funds for the coming projects, to launch different activities, meaning to promote the export production and to attract new investments. <\/p>\n

Giuseppe Nardelli, the international expert of the TACIS "Support MEPO\/MIDA" project, emphasized that the main objective of the Agency to be is to offer insurance and warranties to support the exporters and the organizations which finance the export production and local services. The Agency’s activity will be guaranteed by the state represented by the Ministry of Finance, the source said.
\nThe Agency’s initial statutory capital estimates 1 million euros. The preliminary cost of the insurance estimates 0.3 % of the total export operation. <\/p>\n

The Project will be financed by the European Committee and will be implemented by the "Asesores de Comercio Exterior" from Spain. <\/p>\n
