The ‘Evroset’ Russian company has purchased the Eurotel Moldovan retail network, which has 44 communication saloons, including 25 in Chisinau. Evroset Head Evgheny Chichvarkin communicated it, but refused to unveil the cost of the bargain. <\/p>\n

According to him, the Moldovan saloons will be re-equipped in accordance with the Euroset standards and the range of telephones and accessories will be considerably expanded. <\/p>\n

Chichvarkin designated the Moldovan market as small, but fairly interesting. He hopes that the external political circumstances are over and this will result in increasing the purchasing capacity on the both Dniester banks. <\/p>\n

‘Evroset is the largest company in Russia and the CIS, which deals with cellular retail trade, it is the leading dealer of the largest communication operators. The main lines of its activities is trade in cellular telephones, digital cameras, DECT telephones, CD and MP-3\u0412 players, accessories; lining up to communication operators, work with Moscow and regional dealers; rendering information services. The company was set up in 1997, it holds the largest network of communication saloons (more than 4400). The number of its employees accounts for\u0412 40 thousand people. It has branch offices in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan. In 2006 the Evroset came out onto the Baltic market and intends to open 150 communication saloons in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
