Vice-minister, Minister of Economy and Reforms Ion Sturza has made a telephone call to Supreme Commissar for Relations with the East-European countries Hans van den Broek, INTERLIK News agency reports. <\/p>\n

The interlocutor has been interested in the situation in the republic after the resignation of Ion Ciubuc’s government, having particularly underscored the need for the formation of a new government team. Hans van den Broek has expressed his satisfaction with the course of the social-economic reform in the republic, having declared that its authorities are exerting all the efforts for Moldova’s integration into the community of the developed states. For the last half-year, it has succeeded in building up a positive image of the country in the eyes of the international financial organizations. The European Union is currently in an active run-up for crediting the Moldovan reforms. Notably, in the frames of a TACIS program it is planned to allocate 19 million Euros to Moldova: 15 million in the form of credits and 3-4 million in the form of humanitarian assistance, designed for setting up an Agency for Export Support among other purposes.<\/p>\n

For his part Ion Sturza has underlined that the government resignation was carried out in compliance with the constitutional norms of the Republic of Moldova. The formation of the government team to work in two main lines – provision of the further reform progress and social factor – is under way this week. <\/p>\n
