Three winners of the second auction of state-owned shares in 51 enterprises were determined at the Stock Exchange on Tuesday. Three transactions on the sale of state-owned shares were concluded. These were the Nicusor-S Road repair and construction enterprise (Soroca), the Nicodim building materials enterprise (Chisinau) and the Darurile naturii vegetables and fruit trade enterprise. <\/p>\n

According to the exchange administration, all three blocks of shares were sold in the total volume at their initial price: 68.28% of the Nicuşor-S shares at MDL 25 per share, 58.01% of the Nicodim shares – at MDL 0.63 per share and 3.66% of the Darurile naturii shares – at MDL 1. The nominal cost of all the shares was MDL 10. <\/p>\n

The auction started on July 24 and will last until August 15. The blocks are sold in single lots and include from 0.01% to 100% stakes. <\/p>\n

The highest initial price is for the shares of the CTI-Capital international technical center (Chisinau) – MDL 1100 per share, whereas the nominal price is MDL 1000. The state owns 17.245% of shares in this company. The initial price for the SC Monotip specialized on printing is MDL 71, whereas the nominal price is MDL 10. The state is ready to sell 76.25% of its shares. The initial price of shares of the Zimbru-Nord transport enterprise (Balti) exceeds the nominal price seven times. <\/p>\n

The initial price per share of the Cicec (Comrat), Darurile Naturii and the Arionesti incubator station is ten times less than their nominal price – MDL 1, 1.5 and 0.5 accordingly. <\/p>\n

The first auction of state-owned shares took place at the exchange from May 22 to June 9. Shares of only eight out of 32 companies at MDL 6 million ($454.5 thousand) were sold mainly at their initial price. <\/p>\n

The toughest fight was for the shares of the Coloana specializata de montare nr. 1 (Cahul). Whereas the initial price accounted for MDL 12.23, the purchasing price amounted to MDL 30. 7159 shares (16.6%) were purchased. <\/p>\n

There was no demand for the state-owned shares in Aproviselectr, Energcostruct, QBE Asito, Consocivil, Alimentarmaş at the offered prices. They are included in the list for the next auction. <\/p>\n
