The governor of the National Bank of Moldova (NBM) Leonid Talmaci has stated that commercial banks of Moldova are not in shock because of credited by them wine-making companies do not export their products to Russia. Talmaci says that the share of credits provided to the enterprises of vine-growing and wine-making industry makes 8! % of assets of commercial banks and only 14% of the total amount of provided credits. The governor of the NBM states that distribution of these credits in the area is optimal: 20% of the amount of credits received is directed for expanding the production, while 80% – to returnable funds. This has been the statement of Talmaci at the session called by the president of the country Vladimir Voronin. <\/p>\n

Heads of commercial banks who also have taken part in the session have noted in their turn that the situation in bank sector is quiet. As they have said it is necessary to begin an intensive individual work with the enterprises for elaboration of the strategy of their further development as well as to provide bank support to vine-growing and wine-making industry. <\/p>\n
