The Central Control Commission made known the state functionaries’ income and property declarations. The “wealthiest” state functionary turned out to be the MP of the Our Moldova Alliance Party Anatol Taranu, who declared property to the value of 1.11 million lei. <\/p>\n

According to the declarations, Anatol Taranu has a house, an apartment, a villa, a garage and a car. The second in the ranking is former Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Dmitrii Todoroglo, who owns property valued at 751 962 lei (an apartment, a car and a trailer). <\/p>\n

President of Moldova Vladimir Voronin declared property of 365 105 lei (two plots of land, an apartment, a villa, a garage and a motor vehicle).

\nHead of Parliament Marian Lupu owns two apartments and a car to the value of 151 000 lei. Deputy Head of Parliament Iurie Rosca declared property of 583 000 lei, while the other Deputy Head Maria Postoico of 241 000 lei. <\/p>\n

Prime Minister Vasile Tarlev owns two lots, a house and a villa estimated at 166 687, while the Governor of the National Bank of Moldova Leonid Talmaci an apartment of 17 706 lei. <\/p>\n

The leader of the parliamentary faction of the Our Moldova Alliance Party Serafim Urechean is the owner of real estate estimated at 72 316 lei. MP Dumitru Braghis declared property valued at 41 014 lei, MP Dumitru Diacov 178,000 lei. The leader of the Communist Party Eugenia Ostapciuc owns two plots of land, an apartment, a villa and a car estimated at 423 143 lei. <\/p>\n

Former First Deputy Prime Minister Vasile Iovv declared two lots, two apartments, two villas, a garage and a car to the value of 355 514 lei, while the current First Deputy Prime Minister Zinaida Greceanii – a plot of land, an apartment, a house, a car and a garage whose value was not assessed. <\/p>\n

Prosecutor General Valeriu Balaban declared an apartment and a car to the value of 75,000 lei. The head of the Information and Security Service Ion Ursu declared an apartment and a car that were not valued, president of the Constitutional Court Victor Puscas property of 105 033 lei, while president of the Supreme Court of Justice Valeria Sterbet of 149 716 lei. <\/p>\n

Many MPs said they do not have property that should be declared. <\/p>\n

According to the Central Control Commission, the declared private property was valued on the basis of the documents of origin of the goods and the assessment does not show the current market value of this property.
