One of the leading wine producers in Moldova, JV Lion Gri Holding, has just held its final wine tasting session that was designed to draw the finish line for the year 2005 achievements. <\/p>\n

Lion Gri Vice-President Nelly Sonic told Infotag that this tasting was held together with foreign colleagues and business partners. <\/p>\n

"The session reaffirmed a high quality of the vintage 2005 wines. Our guests from Georgia and Armenia were pleasantly impressed with the well-developed and composite bouquets of our Pinot Gri, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon. Also, session participants pointed out the complex-like aroma and fullness of taste in Saperavi, Merlot, and Cabernet", said Nelly Sonic. <\/p>\n

She emphasized an opinion that seems to be shared by practically all Lion Gri specialists: all these results have been achieved largely thanks to the fruitful cooperation with OliverOgar Company of Italy. <\/p>\n

"It produces a wide gamma of biological materials used in the production of top-quality wines. To keep in pace with the world’s highest standards and requirements, we use OliverOgar auxiliary items for the treating and stabilization of wine materials. For this, we apply tangential filters at various stages of wine purification, membrane units for wine-acidity stabilization, etc.", said Lion Gri Vice-President Nelly Sonic. <\/p>\n

The Lion Gri Holding comprises 5 enterprises of primary winemaking, an up-to-date bottling plant situated in the Expo-Business-Chisinau free economic zone, about a thousand hectares of young vineyards, company shops abroad, etc. <\/p>\n

Lion Gri is in the group of Moldova’s 10 biggest wine producers [of the total number of nearly a hundred], with each making up to 20 million bottles of wine a year. Lion Gri is a successful vintner, trading increasingly in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, the Baltic States, the Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Turkey, the United States. <\/p>\n
