Efes Vitanta Moldova Brewery, the largest beer producer in Moldova, introduced a new product on Monday – the Vitanta Premium Extra beer. <\/p>\n

"The product is a result of the continued rise of demand for "light" beer, a feature of foreign markets, as well as of the Moldovan market," Efes Vitanta director Iacob Tihman has told a news conference. <\/p>\n

Vitanta Premium Extra is a light beer produced in 0.5-litre bottles. The density of this beer is 11 percent, while the alcohol composition is 5 percent. "The new beer aims to occupy the premium beer segment. This product will cost 7-8 lei, depending on commercial addition," Tihman noted. The design of the new product was worked out by French specialists. <\/p>\n

The company intends to produce about 5 million litres of beer Vitanta Premium Extra, while the share of this product in the overall volume of beer production is expected to reach 12-13 percent. <\/p>\n

Efest Vitanta covers about 70 percent of the beer market in Moldova, being represented by brands Chisinau, Vitanta Premium, Arc, as well as imported beer Efes, Stary Mlenic and Wearsteiner.
