As a result of the constructive meeting with the head of the Russian gas giant Gazprom, Alexey Miler, the sides succeeded to identify mutually acceptable solutions for all the considered basic issues. <\/p>\n<p>In the first quarter of 2006 the Russian natural gas will be delivered to Moldova at the price of 110 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters. <\/p>\n<p>They also reached agreements referring to the activity of the Moldovan-Russian joint enterprise MoldovaGaz, on the eventual increase of the Russian side&#8217;s participation in the gas transport system in Moldova, as well as on maintaining its structural unity. The future price policy will constitute the subject of more detailed negotiations, which will continue in the nearest future. <\/p>\n<p>Moldovan President Vladimir Voronin said that the event is not only a triumph of pragmatism and real market mechanisms, but also of the transparency.
