Revenues of 2,570 million lei (about 166 million euros) entered the state budget in 2005, up by 9.6 per cent against 2004, due to the territorial fiscal inspectorates’ contribution, the head of the Main State Fiscal Inspectorate (IFPS), Sergiu Puscuta, today told journalists. <\/p>\n

Puscuta said the fiscal service exceeded by 13 million lei or 0.5 per cent its 2005 plan. <\/p>\n

On the same period, 2,137-million-lei incomes entered the local budgets, up by 9 per cent against the figure registered in 2004. The local budgets’ revenues plan was exceeded by 10 per cent. <\/p>\n

Puscuta also said that 2,942 million lei was accumulated to the state social insurance budget in 2005, the revenues increasing by about 410 million lei. Nevertheless, the revenues plan was filled by 99.5 per cent, 15 million lei less against the forecasts, which demonstrates that not all the reserves are turned to account. <\/p>\n

About 408 million lei was collected to the mandatory health insurance budget, up by 33 per cent against 2004. <\/p>\n

Revenues of 232,5 million lei were collected from the account of the land and real estate taxes, up by 3.2 per cent against 2004. In the two taxes’ structure, the land tax holds the main share – 198 million lei, or up by 5,1 million against 2004, and the revenues collected from the real estate tax amounted to 36.5 million lei, up by 6.3 per cent. <\/p>\n
