\"\"Revenues amounting to 9,036,4 billion lei (about 583 million euros) entered the Moldovan state budget in 2005, up by 37.6 per cent against 2004. <\/p>\n

Finance Minister Mihai Pop has said that from the total of revenues to the state budget, the basic revenues constituted 7,794 million lei, up by 40.8 per cent against 2004. <\/p>\n

The average daily accumulations in the referring period amounted to 30.7 million lei, against 21.8 million per day in 2004. <\/p>\n

At the same time, grants amounting to 160,1 million lei were attracted from foreign donors in the first 11 months of 2005, in order to conduct investment projects. <\/p>\n

The spending from the state budget amounted to 8,413 million lei in 2005, increasing, thus, by 26.5 per cent against 2004. <\/p>\n

The state budget’s basic expenses stood at about 6,954 billion lei in 2005, up by 28.5 per cent against 2004, including for the payment of wages to the employees of the budgetary institutions, pensions, life allowances and monthly state allocations for war invalids and participants in the World War II, scholarships, and the payment of expenses for the energy sector, financing capital investments. <\/p>\n

There were carried out transfers from the fund for financial support of territories to the budgets of the territorial administrative units, and to the National Company for Mandatory Insurances, as well as transfers to the state social insurances budget. <\/p>\n

Under the set schedule, about 52.26 million lei have been used to pay Moldova’s foreign loans in 2005, including the main payment – 30.22 million dollars, for the payment of foreign loans’ interest – 22.04 million dollars. <\/p>\n
