The travel agencies of Moldova have already produced a series of offers for the Moldovan tourists that want to spend winter holidays or New Year’s Eve abroad. This year the services have grown dearer by 15-20 percent on last year. <\/p>\n

Contacted by REPORTER.MD, Nicolae Platon, chairman of the National Association of Travel Agencies of Moldova (ANAT), told that most of the agencies offer tickets to the mountains in the neighbor countries – Romania and Ukraine. According to Platon, the prices of the services offered by the agencies have gone up because of the rise in the prices of public utilities, especially in Romania. <\/p>\n

Platon told that the travel agencies offer a ticket of 4 nights accommodation with 3 meals included in Fremcia region, Ukraine, at the price of 20-25 dollars in the period of January 2-7. The offers of the holiday resorts from Valea Prahovei, Romania (Sinaia, Brasov, Predeal) for the same period vary around 190 euros for 4-5 nights accommodation in 3-start hotel and breakfast included. <\/p>\n

The price of a ticket for the period of December 27 – January 3 amounts to 350 -800 euros, the midnight supper on New Year’s Eve included. <\/p>\n

“A week in the mountains of Pamporova region, Bulgaria, with accommodation in 2 and 3 star hotels, breakfast and transport included, will cost 250 euros. The people willing to spend the New Year’s Eve in mountains in Turkey will pay 750 euros, while in the Arab Emirates 800-850 euros,” Platon specified. <\/p>\n

He added that the travel agencies also offer tickets to the health resorts in Vadul-lui-Voda, Moldova, with accommodation in 3-start hotels for 2 nights accommodation and midnight supper on New Year’s Eve for about 100 euros. <\/p>\n
