Before raising gas prices for Moldavia, Russia “should do the same for Ukraine,” thinks President of Moldavia Vladimir Voronin. <\/p>\n

“That is why we agreed with Premier Vasily Tarlev to offer Ukraine to hold joint negotiations with ‘Gazprom’ (Russian gas monopoly — REGNUM),” Voronin said on air of the Romanian “PRO TV Kishineu” TV-channel on November 22. <\/p>\n

The president also called it necessary to look for alternative sources of gas import to Moldavia. “The Norwegian gas pipeline reached Poland, the Iranian one arrived in Turkey.
