On November 10, Moldavian minister of Industry and Infrastructure Vladimir Antosiy informed, that after the cessation of energy supplies to Moldavia from the Moldavian Hydroelectric Power Station located in Transdnestr, the republican government started negotiations with Romania about purchasing electricity from it, a REGNUM correspondent was informed in the press office of Industry Ministry of Moldavia. <\/p>\n

According to Antosiy, the negotiations with Romania were conducted in Bucharest, and will soon continue in Kishinev, where specialists from both countries will discuss the precise amount and cost of energy, that Romania will supply to Moldavia. Antosiy noted, that the representatives of Moldavian government also started negotiation with Ukraine about the increase of energy import. According to Antosiy, negotiations with the leadership of the Moldavian Hydroelectric Plant in Transdnestr will be also conducted, but Antosiy noted that the position of Moldavia would be strict, and they would not agree with an increase of the energy price of Moldavian Hydroelectric Plant from 3.05 to 4.05 cents for kilowatt per hour. <\/p>\n
