The Firstline company announced on Tuesday, November 1, the massive launching of thermo-compressible labels and flexible packing, a novel product for Moldova. The company has invested more than one million dol lars in the new technology and it intends to replace imports of this product on Moldovan market. <\/p>\n

The company is negotiating with companies interested in this product, and it intends to sign the first contracts on sale of thermo-compressible labels in 2006. <\/p>\n

Firstline manager Vitalii Kiseliov said that this type of labels represents a newest performance regarding packing of juices, dairy and drinks containing some alcohol. The labels have already become known on markets in Europe and the Russian Federation, and now they conquer the CIS. <\/p>\n

According to Kiseliov, the production of thermo-compressible labels and flexible packing is based on a deep printing on different polymer coats. The profound printing allows the reproduction of some complicated design elements and variances of colours, so that they can create single packing types. <\/p>\n

"Thermo-compressible label clothes the entire bottle and makes the product unusual, makes it nicer and more wanted. Thus, Moldovan producers have access to an efficient tool in order to promote their products on new markets," the Firstline manager underl ined. <\/p>\n

He stressed that Firstline is a Moldovan-British company, resident of the free economic zone that works in Moldova for more than ten years and has a rich experience in making thermo-compressible lids for alcohol drinks. The domestic companies of Firstlin e include among others Acorex Wine Holding, Asconi, Basvinex, Bostavan, Lion-Gri, Orhei-Vit, and others. Also, the company sells its lids in 12 countries. Moldova, Ukraine and the Russian Federation absorb 70 percent of production. <\/p>\n
