The three exhibitions that aim at the development of the agro-industrial complex of the country – “Moldagrotech”, “Farmer” and “Moldeco” will take place from 26 to 30 October currently. <\/p>\n

Natalia Ciocan, director general of the International Exhibitions Center “Moldexpo”, told Monday a press conference that over 500 farmers and distributors of agricultural products, technologies and equipment, scientific institutions, projects that are underway in Moldova, associations and federations in the area, will take part in the exhibitions this year. <\/p>\n

“As many as 96 farmers and distributors from 19 countries of the world, including Moldova, will display their products at the specialized international fair-exhibition “Moldagrotech-2005,” underlined Ciocan. <\/p>\n

Vasile Bumacov, director general of the Moldovan-Japanese “2KR” project, specified in turn that “a universal tractor designed by the Moldovan farmers in concert with the Belarus Factory will be presented at the exhibition for the first time. It will be used in vineyards and orchards, when sowing and cultivating sugar beet. <\/p>\n

“The News of the Year” contest that aims at finding rational solutions to the problems of agribusiness, as well as at elucidating the models of providing technology and machinery for the farmers in agriculture and in processing industry, will be held as part of “Moldagrotech-2005" exhibition. <\/p>\n

About 300 large and medium-sized producers, agricultural and animal-breeding enterprises from the whole country will take part in the eighth edition of “Farmer-2005” exhibition. The group of experts and specialists will award medals, diplomas and special prizes to the agricultural and animal-breeding enterprises that register profits and can serve as models of business development at the contests “Farmer-Lider” and “Lider-Agrobusiness”. <\/p>\n

As many as 45 exhibitors from 4 countries of the world representing state institutions, higher education establishments, ecological agencies, associations and projects from Canada, Czech Republic, Japan, and Moldova will participate in “Moldeco-2005” exhibition. <\/p>\n
