The 16th issue of the CITY construction exhibition was inaugurated today in Chisinau. About 180 firms and companies from Moldova and abroad participate in the event. <\/p>\n

During the exhibition’s opening, Moldovan Speaker Marian Lupu stressed that this is an action that enjoys success both among the participants and the visitors. Lupu said the exhibitions brings extra value to the operators on the constructions market, as well as to private people who are interested in the field. <\/p>\n

The fact that the number of exhibitors increases each year shows the importance of this exhibition as well. <\/p>\n

Companies from abroad, and not providers of finished goods and technological equipments participate in the exhibition, which offers the possibility to start producing them in Moldova, the speaker stressed. <\/p>\n

"At the same time, the switch from supplying by imports goods of this field to offering opportunities to set up in Moldova small and medium-sized enterprises to manufacture building materials is noticed within this exhibition. On the whole, this exhibition plays an important role of intermediary link of demand and supply in the constructions field", Marian Lupu said. <\/p>\n

The director general of the Agency for Regional Development, Igor Semenovcher, who participated in the event, stressed that the CITY exhibition has become traditional already, and proves that, over the last years, the Moldovan construction branch has been on a dynamic rise, contributing to carrying out the Moldovan Village National Pogramme. <\/p>\n

The exhibition will be conducted till 24 September. It is organised by the Jet System Company in concert with the Agency for Regional Development.
