From the beginning of the year industrial enterprises of Moldova with forms of property have produced products for the sum of 7872,5m leis in terms of current prices. The National Bureau of Statistics informs that the volume of industrial production as compared to January-May 2005 made 93,1%, in May this index as compared to May 2005 made 88,5%. <\/p>\n

Decrease in the volume of industrial goods production for the reported period is justified by 38% decrease in production in wine-making, 17% decrease in distilled alcoholic drinks production, 5% in dress-making, 12% -in oils and greases production, in 21% in tobacco production, 14% – in engineering, 10% – in publishing, 7% – in fruit and vegetable production and processing. <\/p>\n

At the same time some areas demonstrate increase in production.
