The State Enterprise ŤThe Quality Wine Factory Milestii Miciť will receive the status of a national cultural heritage. <\/p>\n

The government approved the respective Bill on Wednesday. The document stipulates that the status of a national cultural heritage will cover: the underground galleries of the Quality Wine Factory �Milestii Mici�, which are used for the industrial and tourist purposes, underground rooms, including wine tasting halls (excluding the equipment for the producing wine and champagnes), the collection of the wines from Moldova and other countries, which have a historical and cultural value and reflect the international and national wine making traditions. <\/p>\n

It is envisaged that, as an Exclusive State property, the factory cannot be offered for privatization. According to the Bill the Quality Wine Factory Milestii Mici will receive a preferential right to use the geographic name �Milestii Mici� for naming its products. Other entities can use this name only on agreeing with the RM Parliament. <\/p>\n

The cellars of the Quality Wine Factory Milestii Mici, which is one of the unique Moldovan wine deposits, contains about 2 million bottles of vintage and collection wines. <\/p>\n

The length of the cellars reaches about 50 km. The lowest point of the deposit is 80 meters under the sea level. <\/p>\n

The collection includes wines, put there from the beginning of the 70-ies.
