The National Regulatory Agency in Telecommunications and Informatics (ANRTI) announces the suspension of the decision to organize the contest for granting the third individual license for providing services of cellular mobile telephony in CDMA 2000 standard. According to an announcement placed on the webpage of ANRTI, the respective contest was suspended on the basis of General Prosecutor�s appeal from 3 June. <\/p>\n

Asked by REPORTER.MD, vice director of ANRTI, Stanislav Gordea stated that he doesn�t know the reasons of this appeal and he is to clear up the situation in the shortest time. <\/p>\n

The contest will be considered as canceled after publishing the decision on suspension in "Monitorul Oficial" of the Republic of Moldova. <\/p>\n

The announcement of organizing the contest for granting the third individual license for providing services of cellular mobile telephony in CDMA 2000 standard, in 450 MHz frequency band, was placed on ANRTI�s site on 27 May. <\/p>\n

The license was to be granted for 15 years, at the price of 8mln USD. Deadline for submitting offers was 30 June 2005. <\/p>\n
