Trade unions seek the increase of the tariff salary for the first qualification category up to 771 lei, sum equivalent to the value of the minimum subsistence level of existence established in the second quarter of 2004. Trade union leaders from the Confederation of Trade Unions of Moldova (CTUM) suggest to the social partners that the salary should be increased for all the types of organizations, enterprises and institutions, regardless of their type of property, juridical or organizational form. <\/p>\n

According to a press release by CTUM, a tariff salary of 200 lei was previously established in the budgetary sphere, and of 440 lei – for the enterprises with financial autonomy. The increase of the tariff salary for the first qualification category up to 771 lei would exclude the existent discrepancy between the minimum salary of the budgetary workers and of those from the real sector, assert specialists. <\/p>\n
