\nInterDniestrCom – Transnistria’s monopoly provider of mobile, fixed and Internet services – has announced price cuts. <\/p>\n

The out-coming traffic on limited plans has been increased by 20% while the price is left unchanged. Calls above the traffic limit have grown cheaper by 20%. <\/p>\n

A source within the company said the measure shall grant the IDC customers more freedom; for extra convenience the names of service plans have been amended to include numbers indicating the monthly fee. <\/p>\n

On June 1 IDC introduced a caller-ID service – SOCLIR, plus new tariff schemes for mobile services (IDC-text, IDC-mail, Caller-ID, forward-call, call-wait, Favourite-Number, and Mobile-Internet). <\/p>\n

The new service has no connection charge; the new tariffs have been effective from June 1. <\/p>\n

"Callers will have to pay only for the used traffic or airtime which will allow them to be in full control of their budget," an IDC official emphasized. <\/p>\n

Effective from June 1 the long-distance and international tariffs have been amended to include day- and nighttime periods (the latter has been increased by an hour to start at 22.00 hrs local time). Additional reduced tariff has been introduced for holidays and weekends. International calls from now on imply separate charges for European landline and mobile numbers; the former have been reduced by 30%. <\/p>\n
