\nA Moldovan delegation, led by Minister of Economy and Trade Valeriu Lazar, is taking part in an Annual Meeting of EBRD Directors that has started in Belgrade, the capital of the united state of Serbia and Montenegro. <\/p>\n

Valeriu Lazar, who is EBRD President for Moldova, is accompanied to the forum by Minister of Finance Zinaida Grechanaya, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Moldova and Acting EBRD Vice-President for Moldova Marin Molosag, by Alla Timciuc – a department director of the Ministry of Economy and Trade, and Lilia Razlog, a department director of the Ministry of Finance. <\/p>\n

The delegation will inform forum participants about the Moldovan national economy development, and will hold a series of bilateral meetings with delegations from other countries. <\/p>\n

Founded in 1991 to provide funding for transition-economy former socialist countries of central and Eastern Europe, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is one of Moldova’s biggest investors. Investment in more than 30 projects already realized or under way in Moldova has already exceeded 160 million euros. In 2005, the EBRD is going to sign 10 new projects for Moldova totaling more than 21 million euros.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
