\n\"\"The Government is working out a draft law on the cancellation of penalties for the non-payment of taxes in the social ensurance budget in 2004 by the farmers that possess land nearby Rabnitsa-Dubasari-Tiraspol route. According to the orders of Prime Minister Vasile Tarlev, the respective document is to be presented as soon as possible to the Government for adoption and transmitted to the Parliament for examination, informs Government’s press service. <\/p>\n

At a working meeting on the measures to be taken to ameliorate the social-economic situation of the localities situated in the security zone, Vasile Tarlev mentioned that the residents of these villages were put at disadvantage during years, their social-economic situation being more difficult than in other districts of Moldova. Vasile Tarlev specified that because of the illegal actions taken by the Transdniestrian authorities last autumn, the economic units from the security zone couldn’t harvest the yield, fact that caused considerable losses. <\/p>\n

According to Prime Minister’s orders, a special working group will examine the possibility of paying from the state budget the main sum that is to be paid by the mentioned farmers in the social fund as tax. <\/p>\n

Concomitantly, Vasile Tarlev commissioned a group of people with the task to investigate and find out the reasons why the Government Decision from 2004 regarding the exemption of the owners of agricultural lands in the security zone from paying taxes in the social fund wasn’t executed.
