Premier Vasile Tarlev had Thursday a bilateral meeting with the Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko during his working visit to Kiev. <\/p>\n

The sides have examined the social-economic and political situation of the states they represent, specifying they opt for deepening the bilateral cooperation in all the fields of reciprocal interest and reiterating the firm intention of European integration. <\/p>\n

According to the press service of the Moldovan Government, the two prime ministers stressed the necessity of increasing the volume of trade and eliminating the obstacles the businessmen confront. <\/p>\n

The Moldovan Premier mentioned that a decisive role in the development of the commercial-economic relations is attributed to the Free Trade Agreement between Moldova and Ukraine. Yet, it must be ratified by the Ukrainian Parliament so as to promote the implementation process. <\/p>\n

Tarlev said that another issue that must be settled is the transit of easily-alterable Moldovan agricultural products through Ukraine. <\/p>\n
