In the same context, director of the Department of Monetary Policy and Research of the National Bank of Moldova (NBM), Andrei Rotaru mentioned that currently “Bank’s anti-inflationist policy envisages hardening of control over the money coming from abroad, as well as legalization of its use.” According to the cited source, the responsible institutions will make efforts for the inflation not to exceed the limit of 8-10% by the end of the current year. Specialists estimate that the rhythm of salary increase was higher than the rhythm of labor productivity growth, fact that led to the rise in the price of goods and services.<\/p>\n
