The Office “Unic-Plus online”, the first office of this kind in Moldova that will optimize the interaction between entrepreneurs and local public authorities is being inaugurated today in Cahul. The Office is opened with the support of BIZPRO\/Moldova Project that is financed by USAID (US Agency for International Development), in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Cahul branch. “The implementation of such a project is the result of the partnership between the private and public sector, given the fact that the local mayoralty delegated such a right to a partner that is not public authority,” told REPORTER.MD, manager of the Policy and Regulatory Reform Department of BIZPRO\/Moldova, Eugen Osmochescu. <\/p>\n

The entrepreneurs will be able to obtain the authorization allowing the initiation of a business from the local public authorities within 5 days. They have only to submit an application in this respect to the office. “If over this time the mayoralty doesn’t react then its position is considered as positive,” specified the source. Osmochescu underlined that such a declarative principle was conferred to the office in compliance with the regulations of the common online system. <\/p>\n

According to him, the advantages this method offers when applying for authorizations are: reduction of bureaucracy and corruption, considerable decrease of costs and time for business initiation. Concomitantly, authorities’ decision cannot be subjectively influenced by the decisions of other institutions as the mayoralty cannot see the position of these institutions. <\/p>\n

Similar offices follow to be opened in Hancesti and Soroca, said Eugen Osmochescu. <\/p>\n
