The draft of 2013 program activities for country’s reintegration was not subject to public debate, which displeases several representatives of civil society.<\/p>\n

The Promo-LEX Association issued a statement expressing their concern about the allocation of funds, especially in terms of "Development and modernization of education institutions".<\/p>\n

"Only 1 million lei have been allocated for this category, which is only about 10% of total planned spending. Less than 6% of this expenditure will be directed to those 8 schools in the region, 75000 lei for each. It means that direct costs for each institution will be less than one percent of the total budget", the representative of Promo-LEX, Pavel Postica stated.<\/p>\n

The association is also unhappy with the fact that most costs are expected for villages located in the security zone, but on the right side of Nistru River.<\/p>\n

In this context, Promo-LEX asked the Government to review the draft program, to consult with civil society and supplement it with other initiatives directed in particular to ensure human rights observance in Transnistria, which will positively influence the reintegration process of the country.<\/p>\n

Moldova.ORG notes that the Government has allocated 10 million lei for country’s reintegration. The decision was approved yesterday at the Government’s meeting.
