The year 2013 was declared the year of Spiridon Vangheli. The decision was approved today by the Parliament. Therefore, the cultural-artistic program dedicated to the writer will be developed soon.<\/span><\/p>\n

The next year will be dedicated to the writer for "the importance of literary work and his contribution to the development of national and world literature".<\/span><\/p>\n

Spiridon Vangheli is the holder of "Hans Christian Andersen" diploma and of the Gold Medal of the World Organization of Intellectual Property, laureate of the State Award of the Republic of Moldova, knight of the Order of the Republic and a beloved writer of children. His books have been translated into some 40 languages \u200b\u200band published in a print run of more than 8 million copies.<\/span><\/p>\n
