More than 80% of Moldovan citizens would relocate for a job. Over 62% would even leave their home to find a job abroad, while 19% would switch to another city within the country, according to a recent survey made by the recruitment agency CeeVee.<\/p>\n

The most willing to relocate are men – over 64%, while only 36% of women would be making this step. The study reveals that the teenagers (46%) are more likely to relocate to find a well-paid job in the country or abroad.<\/p>\n

More than 65% would like to relocate and remain there forever, while 33% would move only for a short period of time and return to their country.<\/p>\n

The study says the main reason for choosing a job abroad is determined by the people’s desire to have a high quality life, followed by the low chances of performance in Moldova.<\/p>\n

The survey was organized at the national level on the website of CeeVee agency during January-February 2012 on 650 respondents. The study is not scientifically assessed and represents the user’s opinions.<\/p>\n

Moldova deals with a high unemployment rate and low wages. According to the National Agency for Labor, 4879 jobs were available on the Moldovan market on March 15, 2012. Most of the jobs are available in the largest cities of Moldova: Chisinau and Balti.
