The resort is rich in mineral waters, with carbon dioxide emissions, with an enriched with negative ions air, with natural mofettes that are indicated particularly to those who suffer of cardiovascular diseases. The research made over the years by specialists and researchers, also the results of spa cures imposed definitely the resort Covasna among the most important settlements of health, being a spa resort with a tradition in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.<\/p>\n

In addition to cardiovascular diseases there are treated also skin, digestive tract, related and endocrine glands, musculoskeletal system, renal and urinary tract disorders. <\/p>\n

Covasna offers outstanding opportunities for relaxation for enthusiasts of fishing and hunting. The Carpathian forests, lakes and streams are full of challenging for fishermen and hunters.<\/p>\n

Around Covasna, there is a great variety of hiking and tourism opportunities for the pleasure of the most demanding desires. Three kilometers from the town there is the castle of Miske or the castle where is supposed that Ileana Cosanzeana lived and in the basement of the castle there was the fairy’s great wealth. Today the castle is derelict, but the fruit trees and rosemary are the evidence of the existence of fairy’s garden. According to the legends, in the moonlight nights fairies still wet their gardens.<\/p>\n
