By Diana Ungureanu\/ Chisinau \/ Moldova.ORG\/ — Located in a mountain valley, in the Eastern Carpathians, on the eastern slope of them, the resort Slanic Moldova knew a great growth last times. At an altitude of 540 meters, in a valley of the river Slanic, surrounded by beech and pine forests, there was created an intramontane climate with a pure air, enriched with resinous aerosols and negative ions.<\/p>\n

The mineral waters, with bicarbonate, sodium, slightly sulphurous, hypotonic and hypertonic turned Slanic Moldova into a destination sought for treating various diseases. Mineral springs were discovered in 1801. In 1852 there was firstly tested the chemical composition of the water, and then in 1877 were fit up the first spa installations.<\/p>\n

With the mineral water from Slanic Moldova there are easily treated digestive, hepatobiliary, metabolic and nutritional, renal and bladder diseases, if they are taken by the medical instruction. The external course with mineral water helps to treat rheumatic and diartritic, cardiovascular and respiratory, endocrine and gynecological diseases. <\/p>\n

Although the resort, due to abundance of mineral water with incredible recuperative qualities, is usually assaulted by old people, recently it begun to become a favorite destination of youth eager of a cheap mountain stay in weekend holidays. This zone provides hiking for those who wish and various dangerous and less dangerous destinations.<\/p>\n

For the lovers of active rest there are present in the zone several area attractions:
\n•\tArea of mineral springs;
\n•\tThe park of Slanic Moldova;
\n•\tThe Catholic Church from Slanic Moldova;
\n•\tGorges and the waterfall of Slanic.<\/p>\n

The resort can become an oasis of tranquility or a true oasis of fun, it depends only of your preferences. You have just to save a little free time and ardently to desire an escape from routine life.<\/p>\n
