Now come down to the earth and read how you can get to the place where you could arouse such feelings.
\nIn Harghita region, near Tusnab Resort, on the right bank of the river Olt, there amount of blanket of thick green forests, above all things and beings, the Falcons Rock – a monumental peak of andesite.<\/p>\n

The rock is at an altitude of 824 m, which represents the top of the plateau with an area of 1.5 ha and that opens a wonderful panorama on Tusnad Resort, peaks of Surduc and Ciumat, Ciucas Lake. <\/p>\n

On this plateau of the rock there are arranged by nature in a perfect order, columns of andesite. From the heights of rock can be admired the ruins of the Castle Rock of Falcons, a fortress that was built on the top of the Lower Rock of Falcons. Initially, the fortress had a tile form, but today there are still a few ruins, which can be easily seen. From the dens of the fortress walls, a long time ago were caught and sent hunting falcons as leasing to Turks.<\/p>\n

The mountain way that climbs the rock is intended only for hiking in summer and only for those who have a good physical training. After a mountain going, through forests of tall firs that it seems they touch the sky, hardly and tiring there take place a view on Olt cutting and on the mountain peaks covered with firs. Under the plateau Rock of Falcons, there is a goal of about 200 m, so delight yourself with the landscape, but take care of this.<\/p>\n

Arriving on the top of rock’s plateau and having a splendid view at your feet, you can just say in the mind: “Oh, God, stop the moment that you measure the eternity!” – L. Blaga.<\/p>\n

The distance from Chisinau to Rock of Falcons is 387 km.
