It is the largest spa resort in Romania as potential of accommodation (about 7000 places in hotels, hostels and villas). It is at 8 km from Oradea and 22 km from the border with Hungary.<\/p>\n

The first documentary evidence that attested the existence of Felix Resorts was a diploma since 1221 from Vatican, where were mentioned thermal waters near the fortified town Oradea.<\/p>\n

Nowadays, Felix Resorts are the largest resort with a continuous working in Romania, and it is well-known both in Romania and abroad.<\/p>\n

Why it is so famous this resort? Firstly, because of the mineral and thermal, radioactive, oligothermal and rich in calcium, sulfur and sodium waters. They help to treat various such as inflammatory rheumatisms, diarthrosis, nervous system and gynecological diseases and post-trauma state. There are modern bases of special equipment for hydrotherapy and kinesiology in mineral pools, aerosol installations, electrotherapy and mud and paraffin procedures.<\/p>\n

The reputation is also due to the presence of a tropical plant – Thermal Lotus, which grows in pools located in the resort’s parks and can be admired by everyone who wants.<\/p>\n

The climate with mild winters and temperate summers allow even during cold winter time an outdoor bath in the geo-thermal water. So, the resort is ready to meet tourists every season.<\/p>\n

For those who are interested on recovery or want to combine recovery with active rest, this zone offers various tourist attractions, such as Bear Cave, Castle of Meadow Flowers and Yellow Keys. But if you take a recovery or relaxation treatment combined with a dose of adventure and acquaintance of the local beauty, I am sure that your holiday will be a lovely one.<\/p>\n
