\nAs many as 145 flood-hit families from the village Cotul Morii and 34 from the village Nemteni, Hincesti district, received the keys to their newly-built houses.<\/p>\n

At a today’s working meeting on the alleviation of the floods’ consequences, the head of the Condrumat employers’ federation of constructors, roadmen and building materials producers, Pavel Caba, said that the 145 two- three- and four-room houses will be made available to the Cotul Morii local authorities, who will distribute them to flood victims.<\/p>\n

Caba stressed that four out of the seven companies involved in the construction of roads had already ended their work. He added that the construction works will be completed later this week.<\/p>\n

At the meeting, Prime Minister Vlad Filat said that, until an aqueduct is constructed, special vehicles will be bought to periodically supply the flood victims from Cotul Morii with water. They will also receive two cubic metres of wood and half a ton of coal for the cold season each. The prime minister also said that, on 16 November, all the ownership acts will be handed to the flood victims who chose to buy houses.<\/p>\n

After the meeting, the prime minister went to the village Nemteni, where 34 houses were made available for living. The Nemteni dwellings are roofed, thermally isolated, connected to gas pipeline and water supply.<\/p>\n
