The clip of Glenn Beck’s FOX News program aired this Friday made rounds on the Internet, featuring this language from the Terms of Service for the U.S. government-run "Cash for Clunkers" program (first video below):<\/p>\n

"This application provides access to the [Department of Transportation] DoT CARS system. When logged on to the CARS system, your computer is considered a Federal computer system and is the property of the U.S. Government. Any or all uses of this system and all files on this system may be intercepted, monitored, recorded, copied, audited, inspected, and disclosed… to authorized CARS, DoT, and law enforcement personnel, as well as authorized officials of other agencies, both domestic and foreign."<\/p>\n

<\/em>Beck, a conservative radio show host and a FOX News Channel’s show host, credits one of his listeners of his radio talk show. On Friday, he and guests experts of the Glen Beck FOX News program at 5:00PM have showed the public what this website was doing to ones privacy and potentially taking control of all files on computers connected to this government program.<\/p>\n

After Glenn Beck aired his program on Friday, the language above has been removed from Cars.gov, Beck reports on Monday (second video below). <\/p>\n
