The citizens are going to whitewash the trees and the sidewalk borders, to plant trees and repair the benches in the cemeteries.<\/p>\n<p>The salubrity works started in the cemetery Saint Lazar and the Armenian Cemetery from Chisinau, where almost 100 benches and garbage bins were installed, Coju\u015fneanu added. &bdquo;We spend bout 1,500 lei (over 101 Euros) on installing a bench. All the cemeteries will be arranged by the Dead&#8217;s Easter&rdquo;, according to the quoted source.<\/p>\n<p>There are 11 cemeteries in Chisinau. The largest one is the Saint Lazar emetery, which is amongst the largest in Europe. It covers over 200 ha. Currently, the cemetery includes over 170,000 graves.
