The municipal services this week have launched a campaign to clean the riverbed of the Bac. The specialized services of the district heads’ offices, the Housing-Communal Division and the Green Spaces Administrating Association will take part in the campaign.<\/p>\n

The riverbed will be cleaned in the perimeter of Mihai Viteazul Street in Buiucani district and Muncesti Street in Botanica district. All the trees will be trimmed. The campaign will close before Easter.<\/p>\n

Earlier, ecologists said that the Bac River became a became a drainage channel that emits an unpleasant smell especially because the companies situated at the entrance into Chisinau empty the liquid waste into the river.<\/p>\n
