A festival for confectioners and cooks from Moldova, Ukraine, Romania, Russia and Azerbaijan will be held at the Chisinau restaurant “Lebada Alba” (“White Swan”) on December 3-4. <\/p>\n

Sixteen representatives from Moldova and by 4-5 from other countries will take part in the Culinary Art Festival. Eight young cooks will participate in the Young Cooks Championship. They will prepare food in the presence of visitors. The young confectioners will be given three hours to make cakes and desserts.

\nAt a news conference on November 18, Simion Boran, the president of the Culinary Art Association of Moldova, said that the festival will include tasting events, presentations of dishes and an exhibition of food equipment and technologies. <\/p>\n

Two contests will be held as part of the festival: Art-Class of decorative dishes and Master-Class of national and European dishes. <\/p>\n

Boran said that the festival’s budget is 100,000 lei because it is financed only by the Culinary Art Association. <\/p>\n

Cooks from Moldova, Romania and Ukraine were designated winners at the previous editions of the festival. <\/p>\n
